Terms and Conditions
of Business

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sales and Delivery will apply to all offers, (purchase) agreements, ProForma, Quotations, Invoices, Installations, Deliveries, Collections and activities of Aqua Filtration. With placement of the order or at the latest upon receipt of the products the buyer acknowledges these General Terms and Conditions of Sales and Delivery.
1.2. Payment of quotation/invoice indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions
1.3. All quotations are strictly confidential and provided for the use of the intended recipient only.
1.4. Information provided in all quotations and invoices is provided in good faith, based on the requirements as specified by the customer.

Product Sales
  • All products subject to prior sale. Stock not reserved.
  • All products are subject to availability.
  • All product orders placed after 14h30 will be processed for next day dispatch, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Product Pricing is subject to change without notice.
  • Prices are subject to the exchange rate on all imported products only.
  • Proof of payment must be sent to accounts@aquafiltration.co.za with the appropriate Quotation or Invoice Number for accurate allocation.
  • All products remain the property of Aqua Filtration until paid for in full.
  • All quoted pricing for tank, pump and filter product sales are valid for a period of seven (7) working days from date of quotation.
  • All products subject to prior sale. Stock not reserved
  • Product warranties are valid for manufacturing defects only
Returns and Refunds Policy
  • No returns on cut length cable or PVC Piping
  • All returns to be transported at customers own cost
  • In the case of a manufacturing of factory fault the item will be replaced at no extra cost after testing/assessment by the manufacturer, according to specified warranty terms.
  • In the case of a manufacturing fault or defect, the onus is upon the client to notify Aqua Filtration within 30 days, so appropriate action can be taken and the product can be replaced.
  • All manufacturer guarantees are subject to the appropriate use of the equipment supplied.
  • Aqua Filtration will not be held responsible for any malfunction in the desired operation of the equipment if it is not installed by an approved installer.
  • Aqua Filtration will not be held responsible for any malfunction in the desired operation of filtration component installations not conducted by an approved installer.
  • Only products returned less than 30 days of purchase will be processed for refund.
  • All returned goods that were correctly supplied are to be transported at the customer’s own cost.
  • No warranty on Filter Cartridges or Filter Membranes
  • A 15% handling fee will be levied for all returned goods correctly supplied.
  • Refunds on goods correctly supplied will take 7 – 10 working days for processing, less 15% handling fee.
  • No returns on cut-length cable and uPVC Pipes.

Installations
  • All installation quotations are valid for a period of thirty (30) working days from date of quotation.

Payment Terms
  • Upfront payment required on all product sales to process orders.
  • Accepted payment methods are EFT, Cash, Speed point Card transactions.
  • Funds must clear in the account with the appropriate Invoice number before goods will be released.
  • All products remain the property of Water Storage Tanks SA (Pty) Ltd t/a Aqua Filtration until paid for in full.
  • All installation quotations are valid for a period of thirty (30) working days from date of quotation.
  • Installation payment is strictly 75% of installation quotation, 25% upon project completion.
  • Final invoices not paid within seven (7) working days will be charged at 2.5% interest per day.

Guarantees and Warranties
  • All guarantees and warranties are subject to proper use of equipment.
  • All items remain the property of Aqua Filtration (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full.
  • No claims for refunds or returns will be considered unless made within 14 Days.
  • In the case of a manufacturing of factory fault the item will be replaced at no extra cost after testing/assessment.
  • The onus is on the client to assess products and goods upon acceptance.
  • Specified product warranties and service life information provide are given in good faith, in accordance with manufacturer agreements and are a guideline only.
  • Warranties are dependent on the water source quality and size of the system

Maintenance and Repairs
  • A quote for service/overhaul of equipment, is subject to stripping, cleaning and final inspection upon opening of product.
  • Additional parts/repairs required after stripping and cleaning require further quoting and acceptance by client.
  • A strip and quote fee will be charged at a flat rate on any orders not accepted.
  • A call out fee as well as any travelling costs will be charged for any maintenance required for installations or product supply completed by anyone other than an approved installer, will be for the clients account, charged at a flat rate, as indicated in the provided price list.

Quality Workmanship Warranty
  • Aqua Filtration offers a 12 month workmanship warranty, valid only if alternative water system has not been tampered with by a 3rd party, not approved by Aqua Filtration. *Terms and Conditions apply.
  • 12 Month Workmanship Warranty is exclusively valid for maintenance undertaken by Aqua Filtration
  • 6 Month Workmanship Warranty from date of completion for systems installed by Aqua Filtration (Does not include the replacement of filter cartridges and related components or upgrades)
Water Testing Terms and Conditions
  • A clean water bottle must be used to store water for testing.
  • Water for testing must be labelled
Collections and Deliveries
  • Product collection/delivery dates are given in good faith, however, in the case of late delivery Aqua Filtration Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred in the case of late delivery
